The pre-cooked pork leg is a delicious treat, wonderfully tender and with a wonderful flavor. You can serve it as a snack when you're with a few people (everyone cutting their own piece is fun) or it's also perfect for dinner when it's just the two of you.
Once, at the Keltfest event in Dordrecht, a tough guy stood in front of my stall. After buying it, he held the leg by the bone and ate it as if he were an Obelisk himself. I still have the photo somewhere.
I used to stock it year-round, and at events, I usually had eight on the stall. I noticed that people quickly ignored what they didn't know, so around 4:00 PM, I opened a box, placed the leg on a large plate, and stood in front of the stall, letting visitors sample it. By 5:00 PM, the stock was sold out again.
The leg of ham comes in a sturdy foil bag and can be heated in the oven, bag and all. It's already cooked, but it tastes better warm, so just reheat it. I once put it on the grill above the campfire in a medieval camp, and even when it flickered off the grill and fell into the fire, no one was lost.

So, I'm a dried meat seller, but I don't consider this dried meat. It's so soft and tender and falls off the bone so easily that you could consider it more like a large spare rib.
The leg is gluten-free, sugar-free, and soy-free.
